I am deeply committed to offering a safe and nonjudgmental atmosphere where you can share your experiences and concerns and feel a sense of acceptance and belonging. My passion lies in accompanying people as they navigate their unique struggles, providing the support and guidance needed to help them regain their confidence and find their empowered selves. I firmly believe that within each person there exists an inner strength waiting to be unlocked, and my role is to facilitate that transformative journey toward self-discovery and personal growth, with God’s help.
Irvine – Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday
I offer professional therapy for children, adult individuals, couples, families, and groups. If you’re looking for support related to relationship issues, anxiety, trauma, depression, grief, abandonment, ADHD, or other concerns, I would be honored to work with you to develop a treatment plan to meet your needs. With empathy and a non-judgmental approach, I will walk alongside you to identify the issues at hand and establish a practical path forward for you to achieve your goals and experience the healing and growth you desire.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as your counselor is to help you have a better understanding of your experience, help you connect to yourself and others, assist you in navigating a path through your problems, and to help you gain tools to grow in confidence.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a welcoming, supportive space where you can bring whatever is on your mind into session. I use a collaborative approach, leaving plenty of space for you to share the direction you’d like to go as we work together to develop a course of treatment. I will offer professional insights and tools to assist you as you learn to cope with the issues you’re facing. Together we’ll work to establish and achieve both short-term and long-term goals.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
I believe that we are created in God’s image and that as we heal and grow, we become closer to the image and beauty God intended for us to be. Because of my relationship with Christ, I invite Him into the therapy room and rely on Him to guide our sessions. As a Christian practitioner, I also look to the Bible as a guide for healing. I value the opportunity to combine the spiritual foundations of my faith with the healing techniques and mechanisms provided through therapy.
Qualifications & Experience
I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University and a Bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from Northeastern State University.
My Call to Christian Counseling
I have a heart for the hurting and want to see people’s lives change for the better as they find healing. I have experienced a lot of pain in my own life and have always looked for ways to improve my life and learn how to cope and thrive. My desire as a therapist is to help others navigate through their difficult moments, bring connection into their lives, and help them find peace, joy, and purpose.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I love playing sports, fishing, being in nature, and going to the beach. I also love art, painting, scrapbooking, and watching movies. In addition, I am passionate about constantly learning and open to new experiences.

Trauma
I approach trauma with sensitivity and flexibility, as every client’s experience is unique. I understand that working with trauma is a delicate and complex process. My goal is to provide a safe and warm environment so that the client can begin to explore and process their experience(s) and feel supported throughout our sessions. As we explore, I will provide psychoeducation and insight and assist in developing coping tools in order to provide stabilization and emotional regulation. I will encourage self-compassion and self-acceptance, as these are important elements as we walk through this process together.
Relationship Issues
Relationships can be very complicated and messy. However, we can learn skills and tools to help us navigate them. I use a multifaceted approach to help my clients learn how to address concerns and improve relationships. We will explore and identify possible patterns that are occurring that can be disrupting to the relationship. I will provide psycho-education on aspects such as communication, healthy boundaries, conflict resolution, and emotion regulation skills to assist in developing skills to improve relationships.
Anxiety
Often times, worrying about anxiety can cause more anxiety. I will provide psychoeducation about anxiety and the physical and emotional aspects of it. We will explore your symptoms, triggers, and underlying causes of your anxiety. I will assist in developing tools such as behavioral interventions and relaxation techniques to help manage anxiety. I will also provide a CBT approach to identify and reframe negative beliefs that may be triggering and/or increasing your anxiety.
Women’s Issues and Insecurities
My approach to women’s issues, especially insecurities, involves a holistic and empathetic approach. First, I aim to provide a safe environment for the client to be able to share vulnerable and possibly shameful feelings. We will explore the possible origins, such as past experiences, societal pressures, or personal beliefs. I will encourage self-compassion, positive affirmations, and body positivity. I use a CBT approach that challenges and reframes any negative beliefs that may be causing difficulty. While progress may be gradual and setbacks can occur, it is possible to experience growth, healing, and transformation through Christian counseling.
Spiritual Development
Pursuing spiritual development is a deeply personal and individualized process. We will begin by exploring your background and identifying the aspects of spirituality you are interested in. We will clarify your core values and beliefs, and how these relate to your sense of purpose and meaning in life. I will also work with you to integrate your spiritual insights and experiences into your daily life and decision-making.
