My Goal as a Christian Counselor
As a Christian counselor, I have several goals for my clients. My hope is that through our sessions, you will know how to implement biblical principles to build your mental fitness and promote love, forgiveness, and grace in your life and relationships with others. I will also help you gain tools to manage stress and practice nervous system regulation. Additionally, my hope is that our time together will help you improve communication and repair relationships for healthier family dynamics.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where we can have an open conversation and explore any areas where you feel stuck. During our time in sessions, I will focus on understanding your unique strengths, challenges, and goals and together we’ll clarify how to best move forward so you can achieve the outcomes you desire.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
As a Christian counselor, I strive to reflect the light of Christ and draw from biblical truths to provide guidance and solutions, knowing that God is our ultimate healer and provider. The goal of our Christian walk is to continually grow spiritually, but it can be difficult to know how to live out our faith. One benefit of having someone walk beside you, supporting you and helping you from a Christian approach is that your emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects can be addressed together.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Board Certified Coach (BCC) with a Bachelor of Arts in Ministerial Studies from Epic Bible College in Sacramento and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Counseling, both from University of California, Sacramento. I also completed a Napa Infant-Parent Mental Health Fellowship from UC Davis.
My Call to Christian Counseling
When I was seven, my brother, who had been born with Down syndrome and diagnosed with Leukemia at age one died at the young age of nine. I saw how his death directly impacted my parents’ mental and physical health. At the time, they were new to the faith and lacked resources and coping skills. It is now my life’s mission to help others through their most difficult challenges so that they don’t get stuck and can move forward. This can’t be done alone.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
I enjoy being outdoors and traveling. I love going on mission trips and have gone on several trips to third-world countries supporting orphanages and group homes. I have provided counseling support in Haiti, Nicaragua, and El Salvador.

Parenting Issues
I specialize in working with parents with children from 0-17, including education with infant feeding, birth trauma and how it can affect a baby’s developing brain, and what to do about it. I also enjoy helping parents with toddlers having tantrums, emotional dysregulation affecting school performance, and parent/teen therapy.
When I became a parent, I realized that I was being triggered left and right and I was constantly yelling at my kids and husband, then I would feel guilty. I created a step-by-step system that I’ve used to help hundreds of parents build emotional intelligence in themselves and their children.
Grief and Loss
There is no specific timeline for grief. The people we love will always be a part of us. When loved ones are taken, we experience shock and it takes time for us to catch up to the idea that they are no longer with us here on earth. I will walk alongside you as you navigate the grieving process with God’s help.
PTSD and Trauma
The memory of trauma often gets stored in our bodies. I will show you how to connect with your mind and body in a way that will help you feel safe again—safe to re-engage in life. We will work on this together at your pace.
Spiritual Development
If you would like to grow in your relationship with God, I would be honored to support you. Together we will evaluate where you are in your spiritual life and where you want to be, then determine the best steps needed for you to get there, with God’s guidance and direction.
Relationship Issues
I believe that the quality of our relationships directly links to our level of happiness. When our relationships suffer, we suffer. Once we figure out what patterns are getting in the way, we can take steps to create healthy habits that will improve our relationships and overall well-being.
